WTEN: Hofstra Completes Recruiting Class

Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University Women's Tennis Coach Jason Pasion has completed his recruiting class with the addition of Hailey Feuer. The Phoenix, Arizona, native will join the Pride in the fall of 2018.

"I am thrilled to add Hailey to our team in the fall," said Pasion. "She is a very talented player who has competed at a high level for the past four years. I think she will be a great asset to our program."

Feuer, a three-star recruit on TennisRecruiting.net, attends Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, but competes in United States Tennis Association tournaments rather than playing scholastically. She has been ranked on the Prince Tennis Hot 100 List and was the recipient of the Sportsmanship Award at the Go For the Gold L3 Team Tournament in Tucson, Arizona, this past March. One of the top players in her USTA Section, Feuer was ranked as high as No. 8 in Arizona.

Since 2014, Feuer has amassed 185 combined wins at singles and doubles. She has fared very well in many competitions, including numerous national tournaments, and had a first place singles finish at the Surprise Summer Lights event in July 2017.

A standout student, Feuer has a 4.0 grade point average and has been a multiple-time recipient of the Superintendent's Award for maintaining a perfect grade point average.
