Hofstra, winners of six of its last seven games, is coming off a 69-61 win over Drexel on Thursday. Senior guard
Juan'ya Green, who went over the 2,000-point plateau for his career in the contest, led all scorers with 25 points, while also adding six rebounds and five assists.
James Madison has won two straight and three of its last four following a 75-63 road win at Northeastern on Thursday. Ron Curry led the Dukes with 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the game.
Saturday's game will mark the 25th all-time meeting between the teams – in a series that began when Hofstra joined the Colonial Athletic Association beginning with the 2001-02 campaign. Hofstra leads the series, 15-9. James Madison won both regular season meetings a season ago before the Pride defeated the Dukes in the CAA Tournament quarterfinals. Interesting enough – James Madison won the first four meetings in the series before Hofstra won the next 12 contests between the programs.
